Let me start off by saying THANKS SO MUCH to Jonsen and Howard. Jonsen was the DJ for our wedding dinner reception and Howard the MC. With my family comes chaos - there's always last minute changes and a ton of uncertainty between who's attending and who's not, who should be introduced first and who should be sitting where... I'm sure many readers feel the same. Howard and Jonsen took everything in stride, from table introductions, to pacing the evening, to playing the right music at the right times! The dinner reception was an English / Cantonese bilingual affair, but what I found really thoughtful was that when Jonsen learned I was Cambodian as well, he offered to play a bunch of 'hit' Cambodian sounds for the crowd! I've never seen so many Gen X Chinese/Cambodian people spring to their feet so quickly! I'd also like to mention one more detail - and that's just how good Spotlight Groove is with the kids in attendance. We had games ranging from scavenger hunts to the most stressful Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament I've ever witnessed, and I wasn't even participating! The kids left the night with such big smiles on their faces, and it really left me with a lasting impression on how special Howard and Jonsen are. You two rock!!!

They specialize in this and are able to make your dreams come true. We transformed 888 Restaurant (one of the OG restaurants in sgv/626) into a venue my relatives didn't even recognize! EXCEPTIONAL. PHENOMENAL. EXTRAORDINARY. These are the top adjectives that come to mind when I think about Jonsen and his team at Spotlight Grove Productions. I reached out to over 5 companies and ultimately chose Spotlight Grove because of their professionalism, experience, and customer service. Jonsen is easy to work with and provides quick and efficient solutions to ensure our vision came to life. He is very quick to reply to emails and texts, and if there is something he is unable to do, he will quickly recommend another vendor to help. The services that we used were lighting, draping, dance floor, and photobooth. In the middle of planning, we realized we wanted a larger dance floor, which was no problem for Jonsen to get completed. The wedding planning process is so stressful, so to have a vendor that is easily able to execute your visions (even when they change) is so important. He didn't ask any questions and simply said, "yes we can make that work." Those are the MAGIC words every bride loves to hear!! Photobooth - It was important for us to have a DSLR camera for our photobooth. We did not want an iPad taking pictures. Thankfully Jonsen uses a camera for his pictures and was able to give us digital copies of the photobooth pictures and all of the individual pics (without template). He also gave us creative freedom to design our own photobooth template. We loved the ones he had, but ultimately wanted something minimal with our logo. The outcome was fantastic. He is truly the BEST IN THE INDUSTRY. I will continue to recommend Jonsen over and over. If he had more services, we would have definitely used them as well! Overall, 11/10.

We were recommended to Jonsen and his team by our vendor, and this was probably the best decision we made for our wedding. Jonsen and his team did an excellent job with decorations, lighting, music, photo booth, and the emcee-ing. During the planning phase, everything Jonsen said he'll take care of, he really did and he did so perfectly. Once I passed the task to Jonsen, I did not have to worry or stress about whether it'll get done, because Jonsen seemed so experienced and knew exactly what he was doing, and the final result turned out much much better than I had anticipated. Even when we decided some last minute additions, Jonsen came through for all of them. They really cater to what you want and how you want it to be done for your wedding, really respectful and helpful throughout the planning phase! My wife and I were extremely happy with their service and like I said, this was probably the best decision we made for our wedding and would 10/10 recommend them to anyone looking for an MC/DJ/photobooth/lighting/decoration!
